Angel cut his teeth in some of the world’s most demanding bars, where he learned that precision meets passion in every pour. With a background in high-end hospitality and a vision for modern event experiences, he leads 19/29 with a focus on logistical excellence and creative flair.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME

We are 19/29. The simple answer is that we’re a full-service hospitality agency, providing drinks, running events and collaborating with some of the biggest and most innovative brands in the world. But we’d like to think we’re more than that too.

The name – and 19/29’s ethos – recall the roaring ’20s and prohibition-era speakeasies. Our founder Angel’s favourite cocktail, the White Lady, was invented in 1919. Its recipe was perfected in 1929.

Finally, no. 19 in the periodic table is potassium and no. 29 is copper. Potassium is something that we need just the right amount of – it’s about balance. And copper has even more obvious link to what we do, playing a vital role in the distillation of alcohol.

So that’s 19/29. A hospitality agency founded on the bedrocks of glamorous, occasionally elicit nights, world class cocktails and perfect chemistry.
